Spent fourteen years standing over a waffle iron at county fairs, and now I help folks in food service find real jobs that actually pay the bills. But here is something I keep hearing from people and I dont have a solid answer for yet. What do you actually put on a CV or portfolio when your whole work history is waffle maker and food service stuff. Like, I tell people to show what they did, but in 2026 half the hiring managers are using AI screeners now and I watched someone get rejected because they listed "made 200 waffles an hour" instead of something the system recognizes. So what specifically gets you past those filters and actually gets a callback. Not a list of ten things, just the one or two items that matter most when your experience is all hands-on food work.
