Been looking at cleaner roles more seriously lately. Most people think it's just mopping floors, but there's actually a bunch of specializations now, like medical facility cleaning, industrial, residential, post construction cleanup, even crime scene work. The pay ranges I've seen are all over the place depending on which niche you pick. So here's what I'm trying to figure out. Which sub-specialty in cleaning has the best outlook right now in 2026. I know some say medical cleaning pays steady but I've heard AI is starting to automate a lot of the routine stuff like floor scrubbing and disinfection. Does that make some of these niches more future proof than others. Like is it worth going into something more specialized like biohazard or is the money better in commercial janitorial. Just want to know where the demand is heading not just today but with all the changes happening.
