Porter work in Australia versus somewhere like the UK, is the demand that different? I've been looking into it as something to do while I figure out the crane engineering path long term. Over here it seems like most of the work is in hospitals or hotels, but I keep hearing from people who worked abroad that the culture around the role is completely different, like more respected or at least better staffed. Anyone actually done it in both places and can say if it's worth going overseas for, or is it pretty much the same grind everywhere?
