So I've been poking around getting into expediting. Showed up at a couple yards, helped out a guy I know from the machining side, learned how the paperwork flows, how you track shipments and push suppliers. It's not glamorous but the pace suits me. Anyway, the question. Everyone keeps telling me to go get my PMP. Brokers, dispatchers, even my buddy in the yard says it opens doors. But I already landed work without it, and I'm 21 with zero debt because I skipped school, so dropping a grand on a cert feels weird. Anyone here actually needed the PMP to get expediting work, or is it one of those things people say you need but nobody actually checks for?

Працював експедитором у Києві, тепер розглядаю можливість виїхати за кордон. Чи є сенс їхати з українським досвідом у цій справі, чи там взагалі інша система сертифікації і без місцевих документів нічого не вийде? Цікаво, які країни взажять такий досвід хоча б як вхідну точку.
